Getting ready

After weighing my options what seemed feasible and also satisfying to work on, I decided to create drawings that are postcard size - approximately 4x6 - for Inktober. There’s something calming about tearing paper to small, hand size pieces in preparing for a project. I find this inner calm when prepping canvases for oil painting as well. There are no expectations, yet. Just the raw material and a methodical preparation.
